Active Summer Holidays in Salzburger Land

In addition to its reputation as a mountain biking Mecca, Saalbach Hinterglemm is also a wonderful destination for active sports holidays. The Pinzgauer Grasberge mountains, with their alpine panoramic views, sweeten summer holidays for individuals and groups alike.

Hiking: An unbelievable 400 km of hiking trails run through this region and range from level trails in the valley to hikes that take you up to mountain summits. Stop for a bite to eat at one of the 40 mountain huts.

High ropes course: Europe’s large high ropes course awaits you at the valley end of Saalbach-Hinterglemm. You can visit 30-40 treetop stations along a 1.5-kilometre-long path.

Canyoning: The Saalach offers welcoming refreshment on a canyoning tour during the hot summer months.

Adventure sports: Try something different and take a ride on a Bockerl or Skyver.

Geocaching: The new international trend is especially suitable for groups. The virtual treasure hunt takes participants to some of the most beautiful places in the Glemm Valley. A feeling of exploration for the entire group!

StandUp Paddling: At the Gerstreit reservoir, you almost get a bit of a "beach feeling" when you cool off in the crystal-clear pond on hot summer days. And with the in-house SUP's you can glide relaxed over the reservoir and enjoy the casual mountain panorama.

Tandemparagliding: The feeling of "losing the ground under your feet" takes on a wonderful meaning with Fly'n Soul. You glide gently over blooming alpine meadows with a breathtaking view of the alpine mountain landscape.

We will be happy to help you plan your school trip or group excursion.
